I've known John Karger, director of the Last Chance Forever Bird Conservancy since 1993. These pictures were taken during my last visit in August 1998 to his facility in San Antonio. I was trying out my new digital camera and thought I would try my hand at taking some pics of his birds. He had over 100 birds at his facility that day - these are just some of the ones that were out and around and could be photographed without causing too much stress on the birdies..
